When you were a kid you would always speak truth,
that's why there was no one around you, who you wouldn't like and
even though you were having good friends around you.

As we grew up, we lie
To make those happy who wouldn't know the real you,
To save ourselves from being exploited,
To save our hearts from getting broken.
By this we are closing our hearts to the outer world.

When you were a kid you couldn't ignore a less fortunate human
or an animal if they were hungry or hurt.
You shared your chocolates equally with those animals.
Now you are so busy in your daily life that you ignore a person
struggling to start his bike or a beggar crying for money.

When you were a kid you did what you like.
Now most of us are stuck with a job where none have interest in.
When you were a kid you studied when you feel like studying,
Now we are studying just for a salary hike.
When you were a kid you didn't care at all for the people around you,
except the ones whom you loved from your heart.

As we are growing, that kid is dying.

Let that kid live with those, whom he likes to be around him.
Let them exploit in the end you'll end up with knowledge.
Let's understand the whole world's pain.
Let's initiate giving a helping hand to at least one living being every day.
Let's treat all as equal.
Let's save that kid from the cancer of society
because that kid will make this world a better place.

Never stop that kid,
Encourage him maybe he'll conquer those dreams which
adults can't fathom.
